Gary V. Cover
Gary has been in private practice since 1980. During his tenure, he has represented innumerable clients in personal injury litigation, with an emphasis on automobile and truck crash litigation.
Gary has obtained settlement and verdicts in personal injury litigation totaling millions of dollars. Gary is a strong advocate for his clients and is compassionate with his clients’ needs during the pendency of their lawsuits.
In addition to personal injury litigation & bankruptcy, Gary focuses his practice on Municipal Government law. During his career, Gary has served as City Attorney for several communities, including Clinton, Warsaw, Cole Camp, Deepwater, Montrose and Urich. Gary is a past president of the Missouri Municipal Attorneys Association. Gary is currently the Municipal Judge of the City of Clinton.
Gary’s practice also has an emphasis on representing businesses in commercial litigation and bankruptcy. Gary’s clients include banks, real estate developments, hotels and privately owned water and wastewater systems. Gary has represented both businesses and individuals in seeking bankruptcy protection.
Gary V. Cover graduated from the University of Kansas in 1976 with a B.S. in Business Administration and obtained a Master’s Degree in Business with an emphasis in Personnel & Labor Relations in 1977.He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1980 with a Juris Doctorate Degree. Mr. Cover then graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1980 with a Juris Doctorate Degree.
